If someone asks me what I think this year`s biggest crisis is, I would say it would be the worldwide spread of swine flu, which is also known as H1N1. It is declared as a national emergency for many countries around the world, and the United States could not be the exception of this crisis. Recently, President Obama declared the swine flu as a national emergency, and prior to his declaration he claimed about reforming the health care system, which is too expensive to compare with its coverage. Now days, hundreds of people in the world die out because of the swine flu, and the insufficient supply of vaccine for the most vulnerable people makes the casualty even heavier. This article shows one of possible ways to prepare for this plague, but still, there are some points to concern about.
The most ideal way and the most realistic method will not always match each other; there are too many things to be concerned with. Swine flu crisis is not only a health issue, but also it is an issue for the benefits of many different groups. It is a complicated mixture of moral, economical, financial, and diplomatic issue. To be most ideal, we can just distribute the vaccines for people need in all over the world. Unfortunately, it is not be easy like that realistically. Since the beginning of Obama`s legislation, there was an ongoing issue of health care reform. The Unites states is the only developed country without established public welfares for all if its members. It is the point of Obama legislation`s health care reform to establish their welfare. Obama`s health care reform ideally meets the cure method for the spread of swine flu; the government should be more involved in this national health problem. David Paterson, the Governor of New York points that federal government should vaccinate the health care workers in the first priority and vaccination of the vulnerable classes of people which includes women in pregnancy and young people as second in priority. As a reason for putting for putting health care workers in first priority, he suggests that health care workers should be preserved for long term public sanitation works, and in order for that, they should eradicate the possibility of infestation through them. His claim is sounds reasonable and persuasive for me. There should be healthy workers in order to precede the work without any hesitation. He also claims that it will hurt us more, and if it is true, the federal government and state government would have to save enough vaccines at least for people in first and second priority.
Gov. David Paterson`s idea would be one of ideal way to do in theoretical view, but the problem is that his opinion did not represent the profit of groups in interest, and these groups in interest won`t let go of their profits go away, no matter how many people died out because they did not have enough money to buy vaccine to save themselves. There must be a negotiation to urge these insurance companies to give up some of their profit in order to save people in vulnerability.
This seems like the swine flu crisis could be settled through the way Gov. David Paterson presented; however, we also need to concern about our uninvited guests in the states, too. Illegal immigrants are poorest classes in the states and also they cannot be protected under any government`s reforms. In the Obama legislation`s health care reform, there is an ongoing debate on whether or not to include illegal immigrants in the safe zone of health care. According to Bruce Braley, a democrat senator from Iowa even claims “No Federal Payment for Undocumented Aliens.” Whether or not we think of them as a member of the United States, large number of them is present in the United States as the lowest social class, getting paid with an hourly wage which is far below the minimum wage. In health care reform progress, many congressmen and senators disagree with the idea of including these illegal immigrants in the system. In fact, government is not responsible for their well-beings. Also nobody wants any extra burden on their government`s shoulder, only humanitarian reasons make us to think about them again. However, whether we think of them as our neighbor or not, they live nearby us, which means there is large possibility of infection from them. Historically, a mass infection of disease in poor sector of city, and it resulted in massive death of people in variety of classes, and even sometimes, wiped out the whole township. Although we have much developed medical devices than we ever before, we have to concern of public sanitation of our poor sectors. It is no longer their business; it can be the business of our own, too. The rate spread of swine flu is different for every region. For example, West Lafayette is a minor city with little transportation of population and material, so the swine flu barely spreads, but huge major cities such as Los Angeles and New York City, people are dying out everyday due to swine flu. So I think we should have to include our uninvited guests into our health care system, at least for now, until this swine flu issue is no longer in its effect.
Obama legislation`s Health Care reform itself can be said it is more European than American; it has its concentration on distribution, like many of European countries with advanced public welfare systems. The justification of health care reform is reasonable and it will actually help people in need. However, people who have political view that oppose Obama`s political view, are worrying about the federal government having too much power, resulting in off balance of power between federal government and private firms. Some people just condemn it because they think expansion of public welfare is idea of communists. Also Obama`s health care reform is opposing the benefit of many major insurance companies which have been extracting rich profits from people. These may be the obstacles for health care reform, and they will also delay the progress to manage H1N1.
Whether they are Democrat or Republican, and whether they represent the profit of insurance company or Obama Legislation, there is no exception from hands of this deadly disease. In order to settle down this ongoing crisis, they should work together to save people, and even themselves. Like what Gov. David Paterson`s idea will be strengthened with Obama Legislation`s health care plan with some concern about people in poor sector. I think it is not a time to get separated and fight for their own profit, but it is a time to get their hands together and work on to settle down this urgent problem, even for a temporary cooperation.

About debate on health care of illegal aliens.
This Article shows an ongoing debate over the public health care in Obama`s legistration. Democrats and Republicans are having pretty different view toward this issue.Should they pay federal payment to those undocumented aliens? or Do they get a charge of taking care of their health under the title of human rights?Maybe this ongoing question will take some time to resolve.Since the United States is a nation which is built up upon various race and cultures, this problem of health care would be one of the descision whether to certify those illegal aliens as a offical member of the nationhood or not.Personallly I think illegal immigrants should not get any of those federal healthcare services, unless they are eligible to pay for heacth care. They are people who illegally crossed the national border, and they are expecting to get full cause as legal immegrants and citigens of the states. Illegal immegrants are cusing many problems. Also government is wasting a lot of money in order to just take care of those cheap labors, but nothing else. Too much of allowance will eventually cause lot of problem. Maybe they should have more redical reactions.
